THE CHICAGO MOTORCYCLE GUIDE
This week marks the start of the 2018 Cannonball Motorcycle Rally, where approximately 100 motorcycles, each each built before 1929, will travel from Portland, Maine to Portland, Oregon, over 3500 miles.
Chicago TFT Parade member Frank Schiddel is one of the mechanics comprising the support crew behind Team #118, a 1913 Indian ridden by Fred Wacker of Lake Forest, Illinois. He and Joe Walano, who is known as 'The Guzzi Doctor", will travel along with the participants, approximately 200-300 miles a day, to Portland, Oregon.
For more info go to www.motorcyclecannonball.com.
We will post more news about Team #118 as the rally gets underway.
We wish them and the Indian good luck, and no breakdowns.
Have you seen the new Shriner's Hospital TV commercials?
You may recognize a familiar face. One of the many children featured is the young lady who rode with Santa in the 2014 Chicago TFT Parade.

Celebrating our 40th year !
"The World's Greatest Motorcycle Parade" is an annual tradition in Chicago on the first Sunday in December.
Each year 40,000 to 50,000 motorcycle riders come to Chicago to ride together and donate toys to needy children.
All motorcyclists are welcome to participate in The Parade, provided they meet the following two requirements. Every rider must bring at least one new, unwrapped toy to donate, and each motorcycle must display a clear, unobscured license plate.
And please consider becoming a TFT Parade volunteer. It takes many hands to organize The Chicago TFT Parade.
Help is always needed. Thanks for your support!

TOYS FOR TOTS
Anthony Calloway has been a participant in the Chicago Toys For Tots Motorcycle Parade for many years. He is a retired Veterans Administration computer operator, and a motorcycle rider who rides thousands of miles each year despite the fact that he lost his right leg in an accident when he was in his teens. He rides with his crutches mounted to the side of his Gold Wing.
This month's issue of "Wing World" magazine features a fascinating story about Anthony and his riding exploits.
We hope to see him in many more TFT Parades, and wish him many more years of riding adventures.

Thank you Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade once again for aiding Arianna Wings.
This is our sixth year for Andy and me working with Kelly, and for your generous donations of Toys and product for this worthy cause, to aid families financial strains, due to mounting medical expenses. Once again we were able to raise quite a bit of monies last night for the featured child this year Kinzingtyn Roozee aka Kinzee! Her family, Arianna Wings, and we appreciate your continued kindness! Thanks!
